Fans for extreme temperatures

High or low temperatures, from + 850 ° C to -200 ° C, pose a particular challenge to fan materials and performance.

Fans for extreme temperatures

[Translate to English:] Brandgas Tunnel

Insulation of the fan housing is usually considered in extreme temperature environments, especially as related to work safety and energy issues. Temperature probes for the monitoring of the drive shaft, bearings and the housing are integrated as required.

At very high temperatures, forced cooling of the shaft is required. Special materials such as Naxtra® 70 (1.8988), Avesta® 253 MA (1.4839) Creusabro® etc. are used after detailed clarification of the operating conditions. The drive motors also have to withstand the extreme conditions and are selected accordingly.
