Category 1G/2G fans for Zone 0

A frequently or permanently present flammable atmosphere is classified as zone 0. It places the highest demands on the reliability and safety of fans.

Neither in normal operation, nor in the event of expected malfunctions, nor even in the event of extremely rare malfunctions may the medium be ignited here.
Supplementary hierarchical safety elements such as pressure-shock-resistant design, integrated flame barriers and monitoring via temperature sensors ensure safe operation in these applications.

Meidinger has been producing fans for zone 0 since 1993. The design of the units is subject to type examination by a notified body (test centre).
