Gas-tight fans

Explosive, highly corrosive, toxic or harmful substances must not be released into the environment in an uncontrolled manner.

The casing, all inspection openings and casing partitions as well as the shaft passage of the drive must be designed accordingly.

The tightness requirements for fans are classified into categories A-H in ISO13349. A 100% tightness is not required or economical for all applications. . With an entirely tight welded casing and double FPM lip seal, category H1 is achievable with appropriate maintenance.
