Fans for extreme temperatures 

High or low temperatures, from +850 °C to -200 °C, pose a special challenge to materials and function.

Insulation of the casing is usually part of the design, whether for reasons of occupational safety or for energy reasons.
Depending on requirements, temperature probes for monitoring the drive shaft, bearings and casing are also integrated.

Forced cooling of the shaft is required at very high temperatures. Special materials such as Naxtra® 70 (1.8988), Avesta® 253 MA (1.4839) Creusabro® etc. are used after precise clarification of the operating conditions.
The drive motors also have to withstand the extreme conditions and are carefully selected accordingly.
