Pressure boosters

Biogas feeds the gas engine/CHP unit to generate heat and/or electrical energy.

Gas pressure boosters are used to supply the biogas to the gas engine/CHP unit with sufficient pressure or to compensate for line losses.

Power range type GRN

  • Direct drive up to 40 mbar
  • Direct drive to frequency converter up to 90 mbar
  • Belt drive up to 160 mbar
  • Double-stage up to 300 mbar

Power range type HA

Economical, safe and reliable

  • Available in equipment category II 2G T1 (Zone 1) and II3G T1 (Zone 2)
  • Quiet due to fine-bladed aluminium impeller and solid cast casing (GGG40)
  • Flat characteristic curve for largely constant pressure increase with changing output volume. Elimination of sensors, bypass line and flap avoids costs and increases the reliability of your system.
